Refunds and Cancellations
Our promise: clarity on when and how refunds or cancellations apply.

Standard Refund Terms

Products or services purchased from Skedsoft may be eligible for a refund only if canceled within 7 days from the date of transaction.

Note: If a client is found to be in violation of applicable laws or Skedsoft's Terms and Conditions, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

The "date of transaction" refers to the date a product or service is purchased, including renewals processed in accordance with the terms of the applicable service agreement.

While products may be canceled at any time, refunds will only be issued if:

  • The cancellation is requested within the specified refund window, and
  • The product is eligible for a refund under the terms defined below.

Some products have different refund rules or are non-refundable under any circumstances. Please refer to the product-specific terms below.

Products Eligible for Refund (Standard Terms)

The following products are eligible for refunds, only if the cancellation is requested within 7 days of the transaction:

  • Hosting Plans (excluding first payment after Free Trial)
  • SSL Certificates
  • Daily Backup Services
  • Skedsoft Email Services

Products Not Eligible for Refunds

Refunds are not available under any condition for the following:

  • Redemption Fees
  • Domain Name Renewals
  • Successful Domain Name Transfers
  • Privacy Protection Services
  • SEO Toolkit
  • SEO Marketing Panel
  • Google Workspace Email
  • Website Cleanup Services
  • All Paid Support Services

Any product or service that was suspended, canceled, or terminated due to abusive usage or violation of Terms and Conditions is not eligible for a refund.

Abuse of Refund Policy

Refunds are designed to allow customers to evaluate whether our services meet their needs. Abuse of this policy—such as requesting multiple refunds for the same service, or making bulk purchases and subsequently requesting refunds—will not be tolerated.

Skedsoft reserves the right to unilaterally decline refund requests in the event of any such abuse.

Domain Name Transfers

Domain name transfers are refundable only if:

  1. The transfer is unsuccessful, and
  2. The refund request is made within 30 days of the transaction.

Refunds to Balance

Refunds are issued to the original payment method by default. However, you may choose to receive the refund as account balance for immediate use toward other Skedsoft services.

Refunds from Balance

If your account is over-funded, you may request a refund within 30 days of the overpayment. In special cases, we may apply the 30-day window to other payments instead of the original one.

Chargebacks

If a chargeback, payment dispute, or declined transaction occurs on your account, it will be considered a breach of payment obligations. In such cases, Skedsoft may:

  • Immediately terminate your account and services, including any domain names or subscriptions.
  • Disable credit card checkout for future purchases to reduce fraud risk.

If a chargeback is performed, the following may occur:

  • Your account may be permanently blocked.
  • All services, features, and data may be canceled without recovery.
  • Restoration of service requires:
    • Verification of payment (e.g., proof of payment or a censored image of your card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits).
    • Full payment of all outstanding amounts and chargeback-related processing fees.

Note: In cases of confirmed fraudulent chargebacks (e.g., use of stolen credit cards), Skedsoft will permanently terminate your account and deny any future service.

Before initiating a chargeback or reversal, we strongly encourage you to contact our Customer Support Team to resolve any issues amicably and avoid unnecessary cancellation or fees.

Skedsoft reserves the right to dispute any chargeback, and may submit proof to the payment processor or financial institution that the transaction was authorized and that services were used.
